Albert Paper Products has been working closely with one of the North American mills in converting a coated, craft, grease-resistant board that is being used in many of our direct food contact applications.
The paperboard is fully repulpable, improving packaging end of life options versus poly SBS. No LDPE and no fluorocarbons enables brands to make excellent sustainability claims.
Albert Paper Products and Mondo International, LLC are a leading manufacturer of U-Boards, Base Cards, inserts, and trays for the candy and snack food industries. We have 6 high speed die cutting lines that convert various grades of coated and uncoated board from roll stock into these low profile yet very important pieces of protective packaging. The cards sit underneath chocolate bars, biscuits, snack cakes, mini donuts, cookies and other sweets.
We also slit down master rolls of coated roll stock to narrow widths to fit onto your machinery so this process can be done inline. These rolls are unwound on flow wrap machines and cut off to size. Our machines have the capabilities to produce these rolls 24 hours per day. Albert Paper works directly with the top mills for all our board and does all of the converting and finishing at our New Jersey facility.
Albert Paper Products utilizes state-of-the-art machinery to covert roll stock into various types of paperboard packaging for the food, candy, and baking industries. Trays, cards, U-Boards, and narrow width slit rolls are produced using poly-coated, plain SBS, kraftpak, clay-coated plain chip, and chocolate board. We specialize in fast turnaround and maintain an extensive inventory of various board grades. We can also print up to 6 colors, either on rolls or sheets.
